Hello, my name is Joanna Staude-Potocka. For 25 years I have worked in marketing for the largest FMCG and retail companies in Europe and Asia.
I built brands, transformed companies, merged entities, sustained the pace of growth and faced many other popular business challenges in Japan, Turkey, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Poland and several CEE countries.
I was a pretty successful marketer and for the last 15 years I have worked as CMO, member of the Management Teams. It was a great adventure.
Empathetic nature
However, it is not the business issues that remain the essence of those years for me, but the teams and people I have encountered on my career path.
I have managed women and men from around a dozen nationalities, cultures as extreme as the never-to-be-spoken Japanese and the direct Dutch.
Although I realized it years later, today I know for sure that empathy helped me create great and effective business teams. This natural trait of my character turned out to be the most important wherever fate had thrown me.
Spiritual evolution
Recent years have also been a time of my personal transformation. Spirituality (not to be confused with religiousness) has become for me an area of internal, deep exploration. It allows me to grow personally, build own happiness and create a beautiful reality around me.
The world of science became interested in this aspect of our lives and brings more and more fascinating discoveries, which I am sure will change our civilization soon.
Business seems to be still dormant, although the first signs of change are already visible. Humanity is going through an intense process of consciousness evolution right now, I feel it and I am a close observer of it. This force will continue to transform many dimensions of our life, including the economy. It is worth discovering.
